Violations of Probation
In a DUI case, violating your probation normally means that you have failed to live up to a term that you agreed to on an initial plea. Generally, someone may have failed to make fine payments, failed to complete their alcohol education program on time, skipped out on jailtime, community service, cal-trans, etc… It can also be because you have picked up another DUI offense while still on probation for the first. In cases such as these, the penalties can range from minor (being revoked an reinstated on the initial terms of one’s probation) or major (being subjected to the maximum penalties and/or fines under the law). Once you violate your probation, you are in the judge’s hands. However, having a good attorney by your side can only make it better!
